Surgeon Dimitrios Floros was born and raised in Athens. He graduated from the Department of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and received the title of General Surgery after training at the NIMTS and Evangelismos hospitals. He holds a postgraduate degree from the Democritus University of Thrace. He trained in minimally invasive surgery in Strasbourg, France, and has since undergone advanced laparoscopic and hybrid surgery in the field of General Surgery. After training and certification in Bangkok, Thailand, he performs the Endoscopic Oral Access (TOETVA) for thyroid and parathyroid glands. He is a pioneering surgeon applying the technique in Greece.
